First and foremost thank you for visiting the website and taking the time to read my bio. As a Charlestown; IN native, I have a huge love for history and community and created my candle business name from Charlestown‘s founding year. I felt it’s Important to have a business name the community could connect to and a way for me to honor my hometown. 

I’m a wife and mother of three children; two boys and a girl. I also have three dogs; a mini fb2 goldendoodle, named Roxie, a dauchaun Buster Brown and their puppy (yes; they had a litter together) Lady. I’ve been a candle maker for three years now; but before that I worked in a local hospital in the psych department for 3 years and the ER department for 16 years. I‘m also a CPR instructor with the AHA.

I’ve dabbled my hands in a few entrepreneur jobs such as a dance fitness instructor; I used to conduct classes in parks with the city and with Studio HIIT. Candles have been my best one yet lol.. My dream for this business is to continue to grow for years to come that will benefit my family down the road and to bring a relaxing fun atmosphere to my community. I plan to get to the point where I can do this full time and own a brick and mortar business that offers candle classes and a immersive shopping experience where I can allow my friends or local artisans sell their products in the store.

My candle style is very bohemian, zen, farmhouse, and cottage core all blended together. I love earthy and pastel tones.

All of my scents are Phthalate Free and are a combination of fragrance oil and essential oil. My go to scents are Butterscotch and Bourbon; Mango and coconut milk, Pineapple and Sage, Oak Moss and Amber; Cedar and Lavender; Apple and Cinnamon; and Coffee are my top favorite.
